About Us

Welcome to the KARMA women riders website . We are motorcyclists who love to ride their motorcycles-local or long distance. The name KARMA was chosen for many reasons, one of which is to symbolize the balance that is important in our lives. As women, we are constantly striving to create balance between our work, family and social lives, while being true to our inner spirit of fun.

Riding our motorcycles is the primary purpose of this group, while still maintaining that balance in life.

Knowledge of safe riding techniques and skills are key to our safety;
And further, we believe that
Respect for one’s self, as well as others, is an important value that we share.
Motorcycles bring us together, but our respectful
Attitude towards others, will define us as mature women riders.

Any woman wishing to join KARMA, in the spirit of these values, is invited to participate in three rides/events and three monthly meetings, before any application for membership will be considered

Our members are from the Metro-South area of Massachusetts and from Rhode Island. Our ride schedule runs from April through October, along with year-round monthly meetings and social events. Some of our monthly meetings take place during/after planned rides, while others may take place in a hall or a member's home.

Some of our rides include:

  • Day trips to Newport, RI, Mystic, CT, Cape Cod, New Hampshire-and anywhere else we can get to!
  • Rebel Robin’s famous Loop-de-Loop through MA, RI, CT and back to MA-all in one day!
  • Purgatory Chasm
  • The Berkshire Rally
  • “Americade”, Lake George, NY
  • Maine (many times!)
  • Canadian Maritimes
  • Blue Ridge Parkway
  • The Killington Classic
  • Anywhere we decide to go
  • Picnics, Tea Rooms, The Beach, Shopping, Eating Out and, of course, Ice Cream!

KARMA is a private family riding organization, not affiliated with any other national group. Our "Road Crew" members are experienced in safe group riding techniques and are on each group ride that goes out. All group riders are expected to pay attention during riders' meetings, and encouraged to ask questions about anything they are not clear about. Safe Riding IS Fun Riding!

Initial membership can be applied for, after attending three meetings and three rides/or events. Membership requirements and eligibility can be obtained from any elected officer. Husbands, significant others, and children can apply for non-voting membership, when sponsored by a female member.
